Last night I saw Kashif dancing to Hritik Roshan's Kaho na pyar hai song on American's got talent.
Boy was he bad! - But the crowd loved him - and he managed to pass on to the next stage of the competition! (I was definetly surprised!)
But hats off to his courage! He got on the stage - and just did his thing! - I cant wait to see what he is going to do in the stage of the competition.

What is that illuminated cross on the mountains west of Denver?
Its been almost 2 months since I have been in Denver and each week in the evenings you can see a faint cross on the mountains west of Denver. And ever since I have been wondering what it is and where it is?

The cross is on Mount Lindo in Morrison county. Its part of the Mount Lindo Cemetery. The cross has an interesting history: it was built by a husband as a sign to his wife of the location where he wished to be buried. (Read more at http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/co/jefferson/cemeteries/mountlindo2.txt)
It is also the largest electrically lite cross in America.
It is somewhere close to this map location: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=EN&q=19423+N+Turkey+Creek+Rd,+Morrison,+CO&sll=39.59256,-105.220442&sspn=0.021727,0.039911&ie=UTF8&ll=39.593387,-105.22572&spn=0.021727,0.039911&t=h&z=15&om=1

Indian restaurants and grocery stores in Denver
After having moved to Denver, one of the first things I started doing was to start scouting out Indian grocery stores and restaurants. After much searching and combining information from multiple sites - this is what I created - a custom map on GoogleMaps. (LINK)If you click on the icon, you will get some additional information about the place (phone number, website, etc., if they were available). I have also reviewed the Indian restaurants that I have visited and when I get some time, I will copy that info into this blog.
If you have any places to add send me a message.
